We woke up at 5 in the morning because the girls wanted to see the sunrise.  But because it was raining, we all went back to bed.  We woke up around 8 and the rain was gone.  We went to have breakfast and then went to the beach with the black sand.  We swam, I walked along the beach, and we ate PB and J sandwiches.  Abby, Gavin, Faydra, and Annabeth needed to catch the 4 PM bus back to San Jose.  Mitch and I took a bus to Punta Uva.  But I didn't recognize any of the stops.  And we ended up at Manzanillo.  We found a hostel and our beds over looked the ocean.  Falling asleep to the waves and waking up to the waves was amazing!  I LOVED it!  The town was very small.  One bar, the place that had the comedian, one hostel, one supermarket, two churches, and that is about it.....When we were walking around the town (the main bar), there was a crowd of people watching the comedian...entertainment for their Sat. night.

Puerto Viejo....the black sand was closer to the town.  Next trip....going to remind myself....no strapless swimsuit with strong waves.  When the waves came, had to hold the swimsuit with one hand and plug my nose with the other.

A sloth...sorry such a bad picture.  I was on the bus towards Manzanillo.

The view from the hostel in Manzanillo....waves right behind the trees.

 Local town watching the comedian.
