The Mechanics of Things

Car would not start the other night.  Every month I pay my Triple A bill but yet...in an emergency I never think to call them.  So after trying many family members, my dad mentioned that I should call.  Although it saddened me that I was going to miss my favorite Danceaton class...I knew it would be better to get my car running.

 My car has not started in the past.  I've popped the clutch to get it started or I have pushed in the plug to my starter. 

 This time Triple A did their testing to find that my battery was not doing well.

 It was nice to have some one come to my house and I could buy the car part right there in the comfort of my garage.

 I maybe paying a little bit more, but I feel it is important to support my car insurance.  The next day my car was wanting to die when I stopped at red lights.  It did not like to idle.  So the Lord directed me to a wonderful car mechanic who used zip ties to hold the starter plug in place.

 He didn't charge me anything for my service.

After listening to my car he thought maybe I needed to bring in my car to get the throttle cleaned out.

So this Saturday I took in my car and he was quite surprised that I came back.  I told him my car was running fine but if my throttle needed to be cleaned then I wanted to get it done.  I asked the cost of this procedure and he said that since I came back it would be free.  It's just a nice feeling to find a mechanic that isn't out there just to make a buck.
