R-Controlled syllable Multisensory Practice

For dyslexics, pulling apart words and hearing the sounds are very difficult and frustrating.  Home depot cut up these dry erase boards so that students can manipulate the different syllables.

I put up the syllables on the front board.  Students had to put the syllables together to make words.  This was very hard for my students.  For some they had to check the dictionary a few times before they came up with a real word.

We also wrote on the tables with dry erase markers.  It washes off with Clorox wipes.
