Day one....The hiking adventure

Today's a good day to get out of the house,
To look for a tree or a bird or mouse.
Take the gifts from the piano seat,
I hope a fun adventure you'll meet.

Water bottles, granola bars, and animal scavenger hunt.

The lookout tower..yes, we climbed all the way up.

Pretending to sleep in the tower.

Ready for lunch.

Looking for animals.

Slugs were not on the list.

They got a prize for finding Smoky the Bear.

A real nap on the way home.

A quiet ride for an hour and a half.

Meeting Grammy and Grampa for dinner at Wendy's.

Playground time afterwards.

Came home to face-time with Aunt Tracy.  We watched 'Alvin and the Chipmuncks' before bath and story time.  Day one under my belt.....Puuuuyah...as my brother-in law would say.
