Conjugating the verb 'Ser'

Subject pronouns on the board.
Today I realized that él looks the same as the singular masculine article 'el',   The subject pronoun 'ella' has the singular feminine article 'la' in it.  'Ellos' has the plural masculine article 'los' in it....and guess what.....'Ellas' has the plural feminine article 'las' in it.

Also, the conjugation of the verb 'ser' for the nosotros (as) form has an 'm' (somos) which could be turned upside down to form the letter 'w' for the subject pronoun 'we'

Kids made their own note cards of the conjugation of 'ser' to help them on this worksheet.
I would say the subject, (also, have a card with a subject on it ) and they would raise up which conjugated form of 'ser' they would use.  If I said 'los abuelos' and my card said 'los abuelos' they would raise their 'son' card.......'los' is in the subject pronoun 'Ellos'.

They hear it, see it, say it, and then use their muscles to lift up the correct card.
