We have a Woodpecker Building a Nest
Why this is so fascinating? If I wasn't so busy I could easily spend the day just watching this little bird peck away. I am amazed that I am so easily amused!
It also could be that the yard looks so nice....
It is hard to see him because he is camouflaged amongst the Burch bark.
Mom got out her trusty Bird Book and we think it is a Downy Woodpecker.
Today there was a second bird that was chirping....hummmm I wonder if that is the mate?
