Spelling multi-syllabic words with tiles

Multi-syllabic words are very hard for the dyslexic student.  So anytime I can pull apart the word it helps them see the middle part and how it is spelled.

They picked a word and pulled it apart.

Then I had them code the different syllable types.

Then they read the word to me.

We circle suffixes.
