So after lunch I had over heated and needed to lie down. A much needed nap to cool off and reinvigorate my body. The rest of the family went back down to the river, worked on the crossword puzzle, went antique shopping, played games on their laptops, and took numerous trips to the store....more trips than Grampa liked. It must be Murphy's law that you make a list of what you need...head to the store and one person comes up with the 'one more item' that is needed. It's a never ending cycle that I enjoy but Grampa finds frustrating.

After lunch...loved the flowers. |
A NY Hamburger and Hot dog night. |
Sitting out on the yard...enjoying the view and company. Not the mosquito's! |
Love Mother Nature. |
Uncles grilling next to Grammy and Grampa's cabin. |
Ryan caught a fish....look at the size of that thing!!!! (lol) |
Love his facial expressions....he was forever throwing rocks. Here he is showing us his muscles. |
Grampa's 89th birthday. Mom off to the side...sorry she didn't get in the picture. |
Sister.....I got in the river!!!! |
A NY dinner night would not be the same without s'mores....Sister...you were terribly missed. |
Didn't have metal skewers....had to be creative. |
My amazing S'more....the marshmallow perfectly crunchy on the outside...gooey on the inside. |
After S'mores we laughed about men, giggled about future husbands, and licked the sticky marshmallows off our fingers. |
The perfect ending to a day filled with chaos, yelling, laughter, and sitting on the porch catching up or remembering old times. It's not the same physical environment as our NY family reunions, but with the inner family dynamics being the same...if you close you eyes....it's almost as if we have never left.
