Spelling with cereal

Can write on the table with dry erase markers.

Or write on a paper towel.

My reading program calls the word 'shoulder' a sight word because it does not follow the spelling rules.  'OU' in 'shoulder' does not follow the regular sounds as in 'trout' or 'soup'.  Therefore, spelling the word 'shoulder' for a lot of people is difficult.  

But when you get to eat and learn at the same time.....that is where the magic happens.  :)
