Pero nosotros fuimos en el autobus ayer entonces, yo supe la manera el McDonalds. Yo pude usar mi computadora en McDonalds. Yo lloré cuando yo pude leer el blog de mi hermana. Extraño a mi familia.

July 8th....Sunday
I have been in Costa Rica for one week. I did not have internet yesterday so, I needed to go to McDonalds today to use their Wi Fi......heaven!! To finally use my computer with Wi Fi internet! I finally was able to upload pictures onto my blog and check my sisters blog...I cried.....miss my family so much. Mi tica mom did not want me to go by myself. At first she wanted to go with me, but I told her that I have .....years old. And we had taken the bus on Saturday, so I knew how to get there. She did not like it but I finally convinced her that I was going to be fine. I was a little worried that someone would want to rob me after seeing my use my computer...but Thanks to God no one robbed me afterwards. When I was done, I took the bus home without any problem. Maria was ready when I came home and off we went to the market in Zapote. They need to go to the market on Sundays to buy food for the week. And I bought flowers for Ana and Doña Aida.
Afterwards, Daniel was home and we went to Zapote again to get me a calling card and SIM card. I ended up buying a cheap phone. That way I can call my parents, they can call me, and I can use the SIM card for the internet. The problem is Marco takes his computer home with him on the weekends. So, I do not have internet when he takes his laptop places. I have E-mailed my school, asking them if I can have the administration code so I can download the internet program on my computer. I have not heard from them yet. So, I still have to use the computers at the library. When I do that, I am not able to put pictures on my blog. Daniel and I had a great conversation in Spanish....well, he was trying to use his English. I bought him ice cream to thank him for helping me get the phone. I found out he is a Christian and he invited me to his church next Sunday...I am so excited. And next weekend Ana invited me to visit the house of her sister in the mountains. Tonight I called my parents and my mom was very surprised to hear my voice. Tomorrow I start my new classes.
It was good to finally hear your voice tonight. You might want to buy a calling card that has a few more minutes next time. :) We went into Canby today and got our house refinanced and both cars repaired at separate auto shops. It was a very productive day. We also went to Aurora and Ben bought his dad an antique whip. It was hilarious! I'll have to take pictures of him trying it out. I'm pretty sure he'll have lost a hand by tomorrow. Anyway, I tried to show mom how to post comments here but she doesn't have any of the necessary accounts. I'll try to get her set up with a google account so she can post. Ok, off to bed. Love you!
ReplyDeleteI love you guys so much! Hopefully, today I can get more minutes on my phone. My family can not help me today so I have to find someone else at the school. Please post pictures. Maybe next Sunday I will be able to go back to McDonalds to use their wi fi.
