Tía Time!

We got a lot of Tía time since my sister had to go for her Chemo and Radiation Sessions.  And what is a better activity to get your mind off, when your mom is being pumped with sickening liquid and lasers being aimed at her pancreas, than to get some animal water toys and float down the river!

Next time we won't forget water shoes.
Evening stroll to get some ice cream.

Get ready for the Tía Train....All Aboard!
 Snap Chat time.

Summer cereal...and the cut off pant legs to cover the lower arms.
 Picnic lunch.
 Jumping with style.
 Jumping with pure terror!
Love you guys with all my heart.  You are the joy to my smile, the beat in my step, and the hot fudge on my sundae.  Blessed just touches the surface of what you bring to my life.

Can't wait for the day you figure out how to beat me at checkers!
I am a genius!  Put the crock-pot outside so the heat doesn't make my house any hotter!
Kids loved this slot machine for sale at an antique store....of course, they weren't loosing any money.
 Cooling off.

 Blueberry Key-Lime Pie!

Blueberry Muffins

They love these trees.

A well deserved lunch outside on a picnic table.

Preparing for Special Music.  Not really Tía Time...but they are so darn cute!!

Summertime at the Gardens.

With the gorgeous weather it was time to see flowers, views, nature, and art.

Yes, my aunt still on her phone.

Niece did my nephew's hair...Mohawk style.
The most beautiful coy fish....like an angel.
I think family was a little annoyed with all my ideas of tying to get the balanced shot of family and nature.

 Love this woman!

A Wedding and a Time to Dance.

Yay!  A shout out for; Two lovely people tying the knot, yummy food, family, friends, and a time to Dance!  I love any excuse to kick up my heels, swing my hips, and twirl so my skirt flies to the heavens!

Family Time!

It is nice to just hang out and relax with the kids running around, the food being grilled, and the nice breeze floating through the heat of the sun rays.

And a perfect ending to a lovely visit.  Yes, pose how your feeling inside!  Showing off your love of cars like a pin up model!  There was this eerie balance of terrifying moments with pure laughter, sleep deprived days with the peace of second cousins building our same cousin summer memories, and frustrating uncooperative mornings with yummy food and beautiful views hitting our senses.
We will hold on to the memories these photos saved, but also the ones we didn't need a camera.  The peace of knowing a mother is helping with the baby, finding a foot stool for $12, relaxing on the porch swing, getting free coffee at Dutch Bros., the discovery of a Betsy Johnson phone purse, the baby giving a death grip on the cat and Sabrina liking it, buying twin beds without sales tax and having them fit in the car, and still laughing at parts of a movie you have seen over a hundred times with your kids.

What a blessing these all were to distract from the pain, discomfort, and awfulness of which my sister had to endure during Chemo and Radiation.  Your visit was a blessing.  To come during a time where it was a way for my sister to feel the love of family when this disease of cancer wants to strip all that from her.  Thank you for your love, grace, and commitment you bestow on me and my family.  I am truly blessed.
