Spent a day getting some of my school boxes out of the house and into the classroom. I still have two more storage places to get the rest of my teaching treasures, but I feel good to have some type of order in my home away from home.

Stuff from the attic |
Would love one big table instead of four small ones together |
Found a Kidney Bean shaped table! |
The sad home made dry erase board. |
This is what I want to put in it's space....
Don't understand how so many of these can be installed and not be used!!! I WOULD USE MINE....... |
I have heard of so many teachers putting their SMART boards in storage because they don't have the training to use their boards. And here I know how to use a SMART board and I can't get anyone to donate a board for my sad classroom. How is education ever going to be equitable when schools can't have any common sense about sharing?
I have signed up for two grants, Digital Wish, GoFundMe, and DonorsChoose in hopes to have one of these gems in my classroom. One of these days.....
My dry erase board wall so kids can move and write simultaneously. |
Where I am going to hang all the dry erase boards. |

Now I need to focus on books. Lots and Lots of books. I want to bring the world in through written language. We have 13 different languages at my school so imagine how many different cultures need to be represented so all my students feel and know they are valued and supported.
Please join me in this noble quest to for generations to come.
