SUPER- EASY!!!!!!! Would make these again in a heart beat! Need a better carrying method.
1. Make cupcakes...fill batter almost to the top.
2. Cook cupcakes.
3. Frost cupcakes.
4. Smother cupcakes in sprinkles. Next time I would use a darker colored sprinkle.
5. Place in paper snow cone cup.
6. Add straw.
7. Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!

Easter break
Got to see family! Yeah! And got to go to a great park! Yippy for no school on Good Friday....nice company, beautiful day, free park, and a Savior that has set me free.....Yep...Good indeed!
They have added lots of chairs and tables. |
And lots of new food choices! |
Great company! |
Thought this was cute. |
And this as well...... |
A little friendly 'frisbee' competition.....burn the calories for the delicious cupcake I ate on the way home. |

Scraping the popcorn off my ceiling
In my mind a two day job......reality now setting in on day two.....and realizing; sooooooo, not a two day job. Going to have to make it three. At least I'm in the painting phase of the first room......have two rooms and a hallway to paint.
The closets will have to be next year; I so do not have the upper body strength for this job.

A new toy for my classroom
Here I am using my ipad as a camera, then projecting that image onto my Smart Board using 'Airserver'. Because my computer is hooked up to the Smart Board, I'm able to still use the Smart Board tools while using my i-pad in any area of the room!
This is for my spelling class where I can easily change books/words/worksheets and code the words with my kids.
We haven't bought a contraption to hold the i-pad....but thanks to pintrest I got this idea from someone else. I asked the science department if I could borrow a stand...(don't know the official science term). And I have clamped the i-pad and the book together.
Or if I have the words already in a program on my i-pad then I can just open any document.
Here I am able to pull apart those frequently misspelled words and write the strategies in different colors and shapes.
For reading comprehension I am able to show kids how to make margin notes.....to prepare them for college.
For Spanish, I can put the text book under the i-pad, put the i-pad in camera mode, and away we go.....break apart sentences so the students can comprehend and answer in Spanish.
Here you can see that I have a portable keyboard as well.
I can also put objects under the i-pad so they are 3d images.
And I can label all the items on my plate....next time I will use a white paper plate...:)
Tomorrow I will test this out when I have actual students in the room. We all know....when the pressure is on.....that is when things have the greatest chance of falling apart.....I'll cross my fingers and hope for the best!

Spring Break in English
What you can't see is that this door was on the second floor....seems like some kind of code is violated when you don't put a balcony on the outside. |
My grandmother helped paint a wooden wall in downtown.....thought it was cool. |
Here's the painted wall. |
Mom and sister, I would like one of these for Christmas. Or maybe Dad could make it for me? |
She made me happy every time we drove past her. Of course there was a pink vespa for sale across the street. |
The chair surprised us how comfortable it was. |
Where I slept....well, tried to sleep. |
Coming home. |
Wish this picture turned out clearer....you can see Howard Beach! And then I slept for the 2 hrs. and 20 minute ride home. |

el día con mi familia
Levanté muy temprano....No puedo dormir bien. Fuimos las tiendas de antigüedades. Comé almuerzo. Fuimos otras tiendas (porque necesité tarjetas postales), el supermercado, y la casa de mis abuelos. Extraño a mis padres y hermana.

Día segundo
¡Hola! ¿Cómo estás? Estoy muy feliz. Gracias.

Me desperté tarde y limpié mi casa.
Me encanta mi familia. Lo siento, las fotos vendrá después. Necesito trabajar mi tarea.

La oración en español.
Prepared my sets a head of time. Next year I'll use smaller notecards. |
We also made a white card for 'verbs', green card for 'time', purple card for 'place, and yellow card for 'adjective'.
Write on the tables under each card. |
Juan is a boy...so now the blue cards are out. |
Mi clase de español....lotería tiempo
